Hudhur (hudhur.com) is an ecommerce website based in Bangladesh. It specializes in selling Islamic products such as Panjabi, Caps, Attar (Sunnati perfume), Islamic T-shirts, and more. The aim of Hudhur is to provide high-quality Islamic merchandise to customers within Bangladesh.

The client needed a professional and functional ecommerce website to sell Islamic products online. They wanted a platform that could handle product listings, customer orders, and provide an excellent user experience.

  • Product Listings: Detailed and organized product pages for easy browsing.
  • Shopping Cart and Checkout: A super smooth, one-click checkout process with minimal required information (Name, Phone, Email, Address). Payment options include Cash on Delivery (COD) and Mobile Financial Services (MFS), with no need for bank account integration.
  • User Account Management: Features for users to create accounts, track orders, and manage personal information.
  • Payment Gateway Integration: Secure payment options for safe transactions.
  • Search and Filtering: Advanced search and filtering options to help users find products quickly.
  • Performance Tracking: Integration of Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console for monitoring site performance and user behavior.

Understanding the Problem

To ensure the website meets the client’s needs, I researched the ecommerce market in Bangladesh, particularly focusing on the demand for Islamic products. Understanding the preferences and buying behavior of the target audience was crucial for creating a successful ecommerce platform.

Primary Research

I conducted Q/A sessions with potential customers and gathered feedback on their preferences for online shopping. This helped in tailoring the website to meet user expectations and provide a satisfactory shopping experience.

Secondary Research

I analyzed competitor websites and industry trends to identify best practices in ecommerce design and functionality. This research informed the development process and ensured the website was competitive in the market.
